What we collect

When you contact us — through our website form, WhatsApp, phone, email or social media — we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, contact details and what you would like help with. If you become a client, we keep the information needed to coach you safely, which may include fitness and health information you provide.

How we use it

We use your enquiry and client information to respond to you, arrange and deliver coaching, and keep in touch about your programme. We never sell your data. With your separate cookie consent, we also use optional analytics and advertising measurement as explained below.

Lawful basis

We handle your enquiry on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to you, and we process client data to perform our coaching agreement with you.

Optional analytics and advertising measurement

If you accept our cookie banner, Google Analytics helps us understand website use and Meta helps us measure Facebook and Instagram advertising. OpenAI helps us measure whether ChatGPT advertising leads to a successfully received intro-call enquiry. For OpenAI measurement, we send an event name, a random event identifier, and an ad attribution identifier when available. The request also exposes standard connection information, including your IP address, browser information and our website origin, to OpenAI. We do not send your name, email, phone number, enquiry text or health information to OpenAI, and we do not load its automatic form-matching script.

Optional measurement is based on your consent. You can decline without affecting your enquiry or use of the site, and can withdraw at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not undo information already sent. See our Cookie Policy and the privacy information from Google, Meta and OpenAI for their processing and international data transfers.

Retention

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to help you, and client records for as long as you train with us plus any period required by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time — email info@mypersonaltrainermalta.com. You can also contact Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
